He was born April 26, 1962 and passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Visitations will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at Memorial United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Resurrection Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tammy Porche Mahler; two children, Derek Porche and Megan Mahler Daigle and husband Jesse; granddaughters, I'niah and Mariah Daigle; father, David Mahler; brothers, Shelton Mahler and wife Sandra, Ricky Mahler and wife Sarah, Douglas Mahler and wife Cheryl; sister, Sandy Sandlin and husband Dwight; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nolia Rodrigue Mahler. He was an employee of Louisiana DOTD for 30 years. He was a member of the Dusty Riders Club. He enjoyed hours riding his horse Snowflake and spending time with his family and many friends. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. ======================
