Wayne J. Pitre Sr., 54, a native of Cut Off and resident of Lockport, died 
Saturday, July 5, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Samart-Mothe 
Funeral Home in Cut Off. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at the 
funeral home, 

with burial to be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Linda Pitre; mother, Theresa Adams 
Pitre; sons, Wayne Pitre Jr. and Curtis Pitre; stepson, Rusty LeBlanc; brother, 
Joseph Pitre; sisters, Mary, Diane and Christine Matherne; and seven 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, O'Neil J. Pitre. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
