Edna T. Plaisance, 71, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on 
Thursday July 3, 2014.

Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Saturday, 
July 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. 

with burial to follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve A. Plaisance, Sr.; sons, 
Steve Plaisance, Jr., Brock Plaisance, Garett Plaisance, Michael Plaisance; 
brother, Benson Toups, Jr.; sisters, Patricia Duplantis, Brenda Toups, Jackie 
Borne, Peggy Wiltz; 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benson Toups, Sr.; mother, Ernestine 
Burfitt Toups.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
