Sidney "Sid" Roger III, 34, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 4 p.m. 
Sunday, July 20, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Hilary of 
Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, 

with burial in St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his son, Bladen Roger; and sisters, Tara Roger Gingell and 
Monica Roger McWhorter. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney J. Roger Jr. and Una Lirette 
Roger. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
