ROME, MARY DEMPSTER 
    July 11, 2014

Mary Dempster Rome, 80, a native of Kraemer and resident of Vacherie, passed 
away at 9:30 AM on Friday, July 11, 2014.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace in Vacherie 
from 9:00 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 
12:00 PM at the church. 

Burial will be in the mausoleum at Our Lady of Peace.

She is survived by her husband, O'Neil J. Rome; children, Connie R. Marse 
(Thomas Marse, Jr.), Frances R. DesOrmeaux, Neil Rome (Maureen Becnel Rome), 
and Donnie Rome (Donna Boudreaux Rome). She is the sister of Marion D. Kraemer. 
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 step 
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace A. Dempster Sr. and Frances 
Hotard Dempster; brothers, Wallace A. Dempster Jr. and Anthony F. Dempster.
