Joycelyn Anthony Thibodeaux, 86, a native and resident of Labadieville, died at 
10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Philomena 
Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday at the church, 

with burial in St. Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville. 

He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Thibodeaux Gros and husband, Bruce; 
grandchildren, Anthony Thibodeaux Jr. and wife, Michelle, Katie G. Barras and 
husband, Donald, and Jacob Gros and fiancˇe, Amy Eagan; great-grandchildren, 
Logan and Tyler Thibodeaux, Antonio, Gabriella, and Eleanora Delgado and one on 
the way, and Ryann and Timothy Gros; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Naquin Thibodeaux; parents, Numa 
and Florence Thibodeaux; son, Anthony "Tony" Thibodeaux Sr.; brothers, Wiley, 
Rudolph, Emile, Gilbert, Albert "Doc," and Lester "Joe" Thibodeaux; and 
sisters, Rita T. Cancienne, Eunice T. Gaudet, and Helen T. Aucoin. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements
