Donald Joseph Young, Sr., 63. A native of Des Allemands, LA and a resident of 
Houma, LA died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his residence. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Dularge Community 
Church. Visitation from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Des Allemands, LA. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Young and sons, Donald Young, Jr., Donald 
Young III and Jermanine Young. Daughters, Tamala Brown and Erica Young. One 
brother, Joshua Young and two sisters, Verna Majors and Mary Cheney and 15 
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Young, Sr., and 
Elizabeth B. Young. One brother, Earl Young, Jr., and sisters Vera Thomas and 
Rosalie Young.
