Roy Joseph Bellisle, 93, a native of Ashland Plantation and resident of Houma, 
died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. 

He is survived by his daughter, Ramona Bellisle; grandchildren, Marla Breaux 
and Clinton Breaux; great-grandchildren, Chelsie Breaux and Angie Breaux; 
brother, Roland Bellisle; and sisters, Bell Bellisle Davis and Ethel Bellisle 
Cunningham. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie LeBouef Bellisle; parents, Julien 
Bellisle and Thelma Boudreaux Bellisle; great-grandson, Steven Billiot Jr.; and 
sister, Gloria Martinez. 

Roy proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Philippines. 
He loved music and animals. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
