She was a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 8:00 AM - 10:00 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with a funeral service following at 10:00 AM. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her, Son, Timothy Louis Bourg and wife Cindy Robichaux Bourg; daughters, Bethany Anne Bourg Granger and husband Jerry, Monica Rose Bourg Patten, and Leslie Faye Bourg LeCompte and husband Michael; Sisters, Lolita Ellis, Elaine Babin, Catherine "Kitty" Babin and Elda Trahan; grandchildren; Jessica, Jared, Karley, Brandon, Justin, Amy, Douglas, Wesley, Melinda, Rachel and Michelle; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Husband of 54 years, Lloyd Joseph Bourg; Father, Rufus Trahan, Sr. and wife Velma; Mother, Pearl Babin Lambert and husband Jay C.; brother, Rufus "Pappy" Trahan, Jr. She was a member of Living Word Church. She was a volunteer and lifetime member of Regional Military Museum, LSTA member, Honorary Louisiana State Trooper, Veterans League, Louisiana Troopers Retirement Board, Woodmen of the World and American League Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, especially Sunday Dinners, dancing, Movies, Museum and loved gathering her family together. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
