Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1408.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Sally Callegan Breaux, 59, a native and resident of Houma, passed away at her home, Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and close friends after a long battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Bayou Blue Assembly of God Church. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. She is survived by the love of her life, Mark A. Breaux, her husband of 38 years; mother, Ouida Haydel Callegan; son, Mathew Breaux; granddaughter, Lily Breaux; grandson, Miles Jackson; brothers, Wesley Callegan, Sterling Callegan Jr. and Tyler Callegan; sisters, Julie Porche, Leslie Gautreaux, Lisa Champagne, Trina LeCompte, and Stacy Callegan; mother-in-law, Jerry Breaux; sisters-in-law, Ellie Breaux and Cheryl Boudreaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Sterling Callegan Sr.; grandparents, Percy Callegan and Hazel Callegan, and Joseph Haydel and Anna Haydel; father- in-law, Anthony "Paw" Breaux; brother-in-law, Hank Breaux and Jerry Gautreaux; and nephew, Brandon Callegan. Sally was a retired childcare giver for more than 30 years, a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and loved to fish. Sally treated everyone she met with the respect of a friend. She was always the life of the party with her wonderful sense of humor and her beautiful, contagious smile. She loved life. The family of Sally Breaux is asking everyone to wear their favorite Saints attire to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family at the time of the service. Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
