Frances S. Constant, 81, a native and resident of Vacherie, was born Monday, 
Dec. 5, 1932, and died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady Of 
Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady Of Peace Catholic Church cemetery in Vacherie. 

She is survived by her sons, Donald Constant and wife, Janice, and John 
Constant and wife, Carmel, and Joseph Constant; daughters, Nadine Breaud and 
husband, Clay, and Jane Constant; brother, Robert Schexnayder; sisters, Stella 
Hartenstein, Hilda Simon, Alice Waguspack, and Shirley Goben; 11 grandchildren; 
and seven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Schexnayder and Evelie 
Schexnayder; husband, Joseph Constant; and brother, Richard Schexnayder. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
