Ernest Johnson Jr., 72, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Marrero, died 
Wednesday, July 30,2014. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Johnson; sons, Cedric (Tanya) Johnson and 
Kendall Johnson; daughters, Demetrice Johnson, Michelle (Kermit) Tyler and 
Tracy (Brian) Seymour; brother, Albert Washington; sisters, Beulah and Linda 
Johnson; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Johnson Sr. and Rosa Morgan 
Johnson; brothers, Royal Johnson and Dennis Washington; and sisters, Roszaina 
Reed, Carrie Johnson, Jeanette Johnson, and Madalena Johnson. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
