Lawrence ÒLarryÓ B. Knight, 81, a native of New Orleans and resident of 
Thibodaux, passed away on August 20, 2014.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11:00 AM till funeral time 
at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
take place at 2:00PM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his sons, Keith Knight and wife Wanda, Rodney Knight and wife 
Darlene, Jeffrey Knight and wife Denise, Douglas Knight and wife Renee; 9 
grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Freddie Knight Jr., Karen 
Guillot, and Michael Knight.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Huot Knight; parents, Freddie 
Knight Sr, and Irene Rodrigue Knight; siblings, Richard and twin brother, Jerry 
Knight.

He was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He received the Korean 
Service Medal with four Bronze Service Stars and the UN Service Medal 
Distinguished Unit Citation. The family would like to thank the caregivers 
Dena, Joann and Achsah for their care.
