Adolph Knightshead, 53, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, 
died at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Jones Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his brother, Isaac (Karen) Knightshead Jr.; and sisters, 
Rosalie K. Adams, Celia K. Coston, Dorothy Mae Knightshead, and Velvet (Charles 
Sr.) Green. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Sr. and Dorothy Taplin 
Knightshead; paternal grandparents, Alex and Effie Knightshead; and maternal 
grandparents, Lucille Parker and Arthur Taplin. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
