Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1408.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Janice Aycock Buckel Leonard, 74, a native of Houma and resident of Morgan City, was born Sept. 2, 1939, and passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with graveside services at Morgan City Mausoleum. She is survived by her companion, Ed Patterson; daughters, Jill Haines, Jane Voss and fiancˇ, Roddy Lerille, Ann Meche and husband, Kirk, and Amy Henley; grandchildren, Jan Haines White, Paul Haines III, Spencer, Taylor and Zachary Voss, Michael and Matthew Meche, Andrea' Henley Boudreaux and Gary Henley; and great-grandchildren, Julia Haines and Adalynn Boudreaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pearl Aycock; husband, Mervin Leonard; and sons-in-law, Paul Haines Jr. and Bill Voss. The family would like to thank her caregivers, friends, and medical staff for the care and kindness received during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to My Heart Desire Animal Shelter in Houma or to any charity. Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements. ======================
