Andre' Matthews was born May 26, 1984, and died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. 

A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Triumph Church in Gibson. A 
gathering will follow at Donner Community Center. 

He is survived by his parents, Kelvin Matthews Sr., of Gibson, and Betty 
Matthews, of Mobile, Alabama; wife, Paula Lavette Rivers; daughters, Erin 
Matthews, of Mobile, and Errionate Matthews, of Raceland; brothers, Kelvin 
Matthews Jr. and fiancee, Lois Allen, of Austin, Texas, and Melvin (Grace) 
Matthews Sr., of LaMarque, Texas; brothers by father, Dy'Shun and Devon 
Williams, of Gibson; and sister, Sabrina (Demond) Lindsey. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ferdinand and Doreatha Matthews, 
James Sr. and Mable Anderson. 

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
