On August 16, 2014 Lois Mayet Pelt, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Cut Off, was called to her final resting place at the age of 82. 

She is survived by her children Myra Pelt Fascio and her husband Joseph Fascio 
Jr., Marla Pelt Elliott and her husband Al Elliott, Kyle Pelt and his companion 
Cynthia Stanfield and her two grandchildren Courtney Anderson and Hunter 
Elliott. She is also survived by her Sister-in-law, Gloria Dufrene, and three 
nieces Michelle, Leslie, and Rene'. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald Reed Pelt, her son Kory 
Pelt, her father Etienne "Bob" Mayet and her mother Melza Cheramie Mayet. She 
was also proceeded in death by her brother-in-law L.J. Dufrene. Lois was a 
loving wife, mother and caregiver to her family.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off, LA from 10:00 am till funeral time. Funeral Mass 
will begin at 12 noon 

with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Cut Off.
