Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1408.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Antoine Carroll Rodrigue, 81, a native of Chackbay and resident of Choupic, was born June 8, 1933, and passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Kraemer Rodrigue; children, Antoine Rodrigue Jr. and wife, Sara, Kenneth Rodrigue and companion, Shannon, Monica Roger, and Travis "Butty" Rodrigue and fiancee, Christi Thibodeaux; sisters, Agatha "Marjorie" Bavaret and husband, Camille, and Madonna Rodrigue Martin; brother, Adam Rodrigue; grandchildren, Troy and Travis Ledet, Charles Rodrigue, Ryan and Emma Roger, Terry and Ty Rodrigue, Roderick "Rocky" Reed, Chelsea Thibodeaux, and Abbigail LaCombe; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Typhy Rodrigue Sr. and Agatha Legendre Rodrigue; brothers, Joseph Rodrigue, Simon Rodrigue, and Typhy Rodrigue Jr.; and sisters, Genevieve Rodrigue Borne and Madeline Rodrigue Kraemer. Antoine was a well-known educator in the Sixth Ward area with more than 32 years in Lafourche Parish School System. He loved eating out with his family and friends and enjoyed visiting the casinos. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Thibodaux Regional Hospital in ICU and ER, Dr. Donepudi and his staff, EMT Chackbay Rescue Squad, and Acadian Ambulance. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
