Maedain Pitre Roger, 63, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away Friday, August 01, 2014.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday August 6, 2014 at St. 
Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA from 8:00 AM until the Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. 

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Donovan Roger; four legged 
children, Goldie and Midnight; brothers, Preston Pitre, Timothy Pitre and wife 
Juliette; sisters, Regina Kliebert and husband Owen, Karen Sanchez and husband 
Chester, Cecile Chiasson and husband Ricky; Godchildren, Ronald Pitre, Tina 
Guidry and Amanda Naquin; Father-in-law, Nolan Roger, and several nieces and 
nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Murville Pitre and Florence T. 
Barrilleaux; siblings, Nona Pitre, Phillip Pitre, and Anthony Pitre; and 
Mother-in-law, Ethel Roger.

Special thanks to all the doctors who to great care of Maedain and to all the 
nurses and staff members of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. In lieu of 
flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
