MATHILDA "MATEL" THOMPSON departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. 
She was 74, a native of Labadieville, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visiting at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Thibodaux, LA on Friday, August 29, 2014 
from 11:00am to Religious Services at 1:00pm conducted by Rev. McCullen 
Williams. 

Burial at Old Fountain Baptist Church cemetery. 

Survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Brooks of Kenner, LA, Linda (Craig) Every of 
Thibodaux, LA, and Cynthia (Shoshun) Boss of Gonzales, LA; 3 sons, Calvin III 
(Eula), Tommy, and Harold Brooks, all of Thibodaux, LA; 4 sisters Barbara Jean 
(Clarence) Lewis, and Lois Hebert, both of New Orleans, LA, Carol (Louis) Green 
of San Antonio, TX, and Carolyn Ellezy of San Jose, CA; 1 brother, Henry 
Coleman of Thibodaux, La.. Also 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a 
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Thompson; Parents, Thelma and Alex 
Hebert, Sr.; 4 sisters, Debra Matthews, Geraldine Winfield, Gertie Mae Brady, 
and Verna Mae Pounds; 3 brothers, Leonard, Sr, Warren, Sr., and Larry Hebert.
