Luella Brown Trosclair, 93, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Grand 
Caillou, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at 9:25 p.m.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral 
will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at First Corinthian Baptist 
Church of Houma. 

Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Cemetery in Theriot, LA.

She is survived by: one son, James S. Trosclair, Sr. and wife Barbara; one 
stepdaughter, Bertha C. Pillot and husband George; one stepson, Pastor Fred 
Trosclair, Sr.; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John W. Trosclair, Sr.; one son, 
William Trosclair; her parents, Samuel and Taliel Peters-Brown; one brother, 
Daniel Brown; three sisters, Rosa Dell Brown, Victoria Brown and Emma Lee 
Trosclair; three stepsons, Shelton, John, Sr. and Jerry Trosclair, Sr.; two 
stepdaughters, Horace Mae Gros and Carolyn Dunn.
