Lorna Sonier Zeringue, 79, a native of Gray and resident of Thibodaux, was born 
Nov. 6, 1934, and passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2014. 

There are no services planned at this time. 

She is survived by her children, Russell Himel Jr., Sandra Himel, and Morgan 
Himel; sister, Mildred S. Houlding; seven grandchildren; 19 great-
grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orestile and Bernice Sonier; first 
husband, Russell Himel Sr.; second husband, Paul Zeringue; siblings, Ruffin 
Sonier, Ida Benoit, and Jessie Tillman; and daughter-in-law, Clara Himel. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
