Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1409.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Jeffrey Paul Barilleaux Sr., 53, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Lemon Springs, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014. Services were held at Lemon Springs Baptist Church Friday, Sept. 5, officiated by the Reverends Andy Foley and Gilbert McDowell. Burial followed in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Anna Lee Barilleaux, of Louisiana; his wife of 23 years, Betty Jo Barilleaux, of Lemon Springs; son, Jeffrey P. Barilleaux Jr. of Louisiana; stepchildren, Cindy (Greg) Stott, Duane (Regina) Childress, Bonnie (Barry) Blackman and Mollie Parker; brother, Leon Barilleaux Jr.; sisters, Belinda Barilleaux, Teresa Chatagnier and Suzanne Stevens; and grandchildren, Nicholas Stott, Danielle Ryser, Chasity Davis, Josh Davis, Kayla Childress, Zachery Doby, Ethan Doby, Brittany Blackman, and Joshua Womble. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Barilleaux Sr. Jeff was born Aug. 25, 1961, in Lafourche Parish, the son of Anna Lee and Leon Barilleaux Sr. His early years were spent working on the Mississippi River, then on oil rigs in Louisiana, but his real love was trucking. He spent the majority of his working career as a truck driver. He particularly loved his last employment with S.T. Wooten Company as a truck driver. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to: Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, 2501 Emmaus Ave, Zion, IL 60099. Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home in Sanford, North Carolina, is in charge of arrangements. ======================
