Godfrey Paul Bergeron, Sr., 82, went home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, 
September 26, 2014 at 12:10 PM surrounded by his loving family. 
He was a native of Valentine, LA and resident of Theriot, LA. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, September 29, 2014 at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM 
at St. Eloi Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 
AM. 

Burial: St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery 

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Enola Duplantis Bergeron, three 
sons, Godfrey, Jr, (Gusfry), John and companion, Melanie Rotherham, Steven and 
wife, Lauri Anne, six daughters, Emma Deroche and husband, Carlton, Ann Hooks 
and husband, Robert, Christine Cherry and husband, David, Ellen Madere and 
husband, Rene, Linette Champagne and husband, David, Joan Bergeron and 
companion, Ned Gautreaux, 19 grandchildren, Kasey, Jamie, Christoper, Nicole, 
Chad, Camee, Kimberly, Ben, Mitchell, Nick, Brandon, Courtney, Jeffery, Haley, 
Michael, Cassidy, Benjamin, Logan and Erin, 15 great grandchildren Jeremy, 
Victoria, Chad Jr., Gabriel, Jase, Aimee, Merlin, Juliana, Jayelina, Kristen, 
Matthew, Kade, Khloe, Bentley and Trey. He is also survived by many close 
friends. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Albert & Augusta Bourg Bergeron, 
brothers, Jeffery and James Bergeron and grandchildren, Joey Duplantis, 
Jonathan Toups and Eli Champagne.
