Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1409.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Arlene Juanita Buckley Bernard, 83, a native of Malta, Ohio, and resident of Thibodaux, died peacefully with her family surrounding her on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. Visitation is from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at First Presbyterian Church of Thibodaux. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial is in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert J. "Bob" Bernard; her daughters, Wanda Talbot and her husband Denis, Angie Hebert and her companion Gary Bridier, and Nanette Duncan and her husband Jared Y. Duncan III; sons, Robert "Bobby" Bernard Jr. and his wife Marlene, and Eddie "Bush" Bernard; grandsons, Denis Jr. (Dana), Corey and Benjamin (Belinda) Talbot, Derek Hebert, and Grant and Zach Duncan; granddaughters, Melissa (Louis) Voiron, Lynette (Brian) Talbot, Leslie (Rob) Richard and Alysa (Andrew) Hebert; great grandsons, Cody Talbot, Dylan Ordoyne, Corey Talbot Jr., Hayze Talbot, Matthew Voiron and River Hebert; and great granddaughters, Brittani (Joey) Harman, Kate Talbot, Adrienne Talbot, Kacy Talbot, Grace Voiron, Maddie Talbot, and Emma and Zoe Adams; and brother, William Bowles Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Itol Bowles and Beryl Buckley; sisters, Audrey Reeve and Helen McGrath; grandparents, Arch and Mary Jane Bird Hamilton, and Charles and Leona Buckley, and son-in-law, Darren Hebert. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles and playing cards, but her family was her whole life. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph Hospice.
