"Harry" Billiot, 73, a native of New Orleans and resident of Dulac, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014. Visitation will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma. He is survived by his sons, Harold "June" Billiot and wife, Christine, of Dulac, Warren "Lee" Billiot and wife, Melody, of Houma, Gerald Billiot and wife, Regina, of Houma, Kenneth Billiot and wife, Shelly, of Oklahoma, Dwight Billiot, of Houma, Craig Billiot and companion, Kayla, of Houma, and Kerry Billiot and companion, Tisha, of Thibodaux; daughters, Juanita Dean and husband, Randy, of Houma, Belinda Billiot and companion, Scott, of Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie Moylan and husband, Jimmy, of Houma, Marsha Liner and husband, Jerry, of Dulac, Shelly Billiot, of Jacksonville, Florida, Trish Billiot and husband, Kevin, of Baton Rouge, and Crystal Lunk and husband, Ronald, of Dulac; 46 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild; brother, Norman Billiot, of Angola; and sisters, Diane Falgout and husband, Roy, of Dulac, Rita Smith, of Dulac, and Patsy Trosclair and companion, Phil, of Houma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice L. Billiot; parents, Claude and Elenora Billiot; son, Garland Billiot; brothers, Clarence "Kye" Billiot and Lawrence "Lance" Billiot; sister, Esslyn Wilkinson; grandchildren, Justin Lovell, Frank "Bea" Lovell, and Chassidy Hargrave; and great-grandchildren, Katrina Dean, Christopher Parfait Jr., Isabella Billiot Solet, and Alaysia Luke. He was a retired Tugboat Captain for McKinney for many years and enjoyed listening to swamp pop music. Thank you to Amedisys Home Health and Southern Care Hospice.
