Carlton ÒCottonÓ Blanchard, 83, was born on November16, 1930 and passed away on 
September 7, 2014. He was a native of Labadieville, LA and resident of 
Plattenville, LA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at LandryÕs Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 
10, 2014 at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville from 8:00 AM until 
funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in Assumption Catholic Church cemetery in Plattenville.

He is survived by his daughters, Neddie Blanchard, Vicky Foote and husband 
John, Pam Doran and husband Tommy, son, Ricky Blanchard and special daughter-
in-law Florette; step-sisters, Dolores Benoit, Gloria Thibodaux; step-brothers, 
Freddie Jr. and Herman Blanchard; aunts, Lucille Simoneaux and Lois Mabile; 
grandchildren, Dawn Battaglia, and Kristy Rodriguez, Byron , Ryan, and Joel 
Blanchard, Ian and Brendon Doran; great grandchildren, Rowan and Emma Blanchard 
and Ryli and Jace Rodriguez, and pallbearers, grandsons and Shawn Roux. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Emily Hue Blanchard; mother Neddie Breaux 
Blanchard; father, Freddie Blanchard, Sr.; step-mother, Lucina Blanchard; 
sisters, Rosalie Guillot and Gladys Blanchard; brother, Lester Blanchard.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and residents 
at Heritage Manor in Napoleonville, Cardinal Hospice, and Dr. Keith Landry for 
their great care.

LandryÕs Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of handling the funeral arrangements.
