Emily LeBoeuf Blanchard, 87, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Sunday, 
Sept. 7, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. 

She is survived by her husband, Norman Blanchard; sons, Michael Blanchard and 
wife, Laura, and Emery Blanchard; daughter, Karen Johnson; grandchildren, 
Denise Pellegrin and husband, Del, Jonathon Blanchard, Jared Blanchard, and 
Buddy Johnson; stepgrandchild, Reanna Johnson; four great-grandchildren; and 
four step-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dauvillien and Felicia Veto LeBoeuf; 
brother, Acklin LeBoeuf; sisters, Josephine LeBoeuf, Amy LeBoeuf and Philonese 
Jabert; son-in-law, Eric Johnson; and two grandchildren. 

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses at TGMC, 
especially Renee and Larry. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
