Joyce Marie Cavalier Clement, 80, died at 5:12 pm on Monday, September, 8, 
2014. 
She was the native of Belle Alliance and resident of Thibodaux.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Richard J. Clement; 
four children, Dr. Edward Drew Clement and wife, Mary, Tammy Clement Blakeman 
and husband, Lance, Chris Clement and wife, Trudy, Lynette Clement McDonough 
and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Megan Blakeman Frost and husband, Matthew, 
Mary Frances Clement, Tricia Clement Petrella and husband, Chase, Matthew 
Clement and wife, Celeste, Linden Blakeman Crochet and husband, Allen, Nikki 
Clement, Trent Clement, Richie Blakeman, Patrick McDonough, Brendan McDonough, 
and Caroline McDonough; great-grandchildren, Logan Crochet, Emma and Kate 
Frost; sister, Marion Cavalier Fremin and husband, Larry of Thibodaux; brother 
in laws, Earl Vicknair of Gramercy, Tony DeBendetto of Baton Rouge and Carol 
Clemet of Thibodaux; sister in law, Mel Clement Gautreaux and husband, CJ of 
Thibodaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Cavalier and Lily Ourso 
Cavalier; in laws, Albert Clement and Lillian Bernard Clement; sisters, Shirley 
Cavalier Strader and Leatrice Cavalier Vicknair; brother, Dickie Cavalier; 
Sister in laws, Thelma Clement DeBenedetto and Eula Clement McDonald and 
husband, Freddie.

Visitation will be on Thursday September 11, 2014 from 8:00 AM till funeral 
time at St. John the Evangelist Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
