Julia Leonard Filce, 98, a native and resident Thibodaux, passed away on 
Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist 
from 8:30AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 
11:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Filce Withers (Joseph), Edmond Filce 
Jr.(Deanna), Carolyn Filce, Dale Filce (Cathy), and Fay Filce; 9 grandchildren, 
9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her husband, Edmond Filce Sr., parents, Charles and Aline 
Benoit Leonard; children, Calvin Filce and Kay Filce Coltrin; brothers and 
sisters, Clarence Leonard, Elsie Naquin, Beulah Lejeune and Mary Ann Naquin.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic 
Church, care of Mike Bergeron for the restoration of the Stations of the Cross. 
The family would like to thank Father Mike Bergeron, St. Joseph Hospice, 
caregivers, Ellen Gayral and Achsah Chiasson, family, and friends for their 
care.
