Christine M. Hamilton, 83, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and resident of 
Houma, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014. 

A private memorial service was held at home. 

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda G. Gertz and husband, Herman Lee Gertz; 
son, Joseph W. Johnson; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale C. Hamilton; son, Charles David 
Johnson; parents, James and Grace Mason; and brother, James W. Mason. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
