Vivian Hills, 89, a native and resident of Raceland, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 
2014 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Bell Baptist 
church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tiesday at the church, 

with burial in Bell Baptist church cemetery in Raceland. 

She is survived by her sister, Willie Mae Triggs; brothers, Sidney (Ernestine) 
Smith and Melvin (Lenora) Smith; and caregiver, Marvin (Emma) Boyd. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Hills; parents, the Rev. James 
and Octavia Rose Smith; sisters, Doretha S. Farlow and Bessie Boyd; and 
brothers, Edward, Calvin and Herman Smith. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
