Jerry Holmes, 56, a native and resident of Raceland, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 
2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Kennedy Funeral 
Home in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Morristown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Evans Holmes; daughter, Eletha Marie Holmes; 
three grandchildren; sisters, Ida Holmes, of Raceland, and Dorothy Holmes, of 
Gray; and brothers, Johnnie (Carolyn) Holmes and James Holmes, of Raceland. He 
was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Mary Holmes; one grandson; 
sister, Ethel Mae Holmes; and brothers, Ricky and Benny Holmes Jr. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
