Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1409.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Barbara Boudreaux Landry, 79, a native and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born August 6, 1935. A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Christ the Redemeer Catholic Church from 8:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph A. Landry; four loving children, Kitty Landry, Cathy Provost, Tammie Jo Folse and husband O. J. Jr., and Andrew "Andy" J. Landry II and wife Cathy; sisters, Verna Chatham, Tessie Boulet, Mildred Cunningham, and Juanita Chiasson; grandchildren, Melissa Rodrigue, Drew Landry, Ryan Provost, Cody Provost, Megan Boudreaux, and Andrea Landry; and great-grandchildren; Austin Cortez, Savanna Ledet, Jett Blanchard. Preceded in death by her parents, Eddie P. and Annie Oncale Boudreaux; and brothers, Merlin, Ernest, and Nathan Boudreaux; and sister, Hazel Boudreaux. Barbara attended Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. She was the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 5097 and held various offices within the Auxiliary and the district. She was a loyal member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 11. She serviced the community of Thibodaux as a waitress for over 40 years. She completed her G.E.D. at a later age and was so proud of that accomplishment. Barbara enjoyed taking care of the elderly, playing cards, going to bingo, and going to the casino. She was blessed to travel throughout the country, she loved so much and overseas. As the baby sister, she loved talking to and spending time with her sisters; as well as, spending every possible moment with grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family and friends were so precious to her. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice. ======================
