Lorenzo Durate Rel, III, 62, a native of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and resident 
of Thibodaux, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014. 

A private service has already been held. 

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Billiot Rel; children, Arlene "Ruby" 
Sanchez and husband, Billy, Mickey Rel, Rocky Rel and wife, Winter, Roxanne 
Sanchez and husband, Pete, Jeremy Rel and wife, Pam, Shantel Pitre and husband, 
Kris, and Rene Rel and companion, Chelse; brother, Jose' Rel; and 19 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Rel Jr. and Esperanza Durate 
Rel; son, Dion Rel; and sister, Esmi Rel Bourg. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
