Enest "E.J." Samanie Jr., 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 7:30 
a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday at the South Thibodaux Fire Company. 

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Chauvin Samanie; son, Justin Samanie; 
daughter, Shelbie Samanie; and sisters, Marlene Samanie Gaudet and Charlene 
Samanie Chauvin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enest "Fatso" Samanie Sr. and Aline 
Lirette Samanie; and sisters, Judy S. Guillot, Jane S. Tabor, and Joan S. 
Fischer. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
