She was born November 4, 1930. Visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, LA from 8:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church cemetery, Vacherie. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul Joseph Stein Sr.; her children, Paul Stein Jr. and wife Moira ( Macleod) of Galliano; Evelyn Stein Chenier and husband Lou Gary of Vacherie; Dale Stein and companion Patty Abadie of Vacherie; and Richard Stein and wife Joyce (Granier) of Vacherie; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marie Aure Folse Tregle of Des Allemands; foster parents, Vincent and Marceline Folse Tregle of Vacherie; brother, Henry Tregle; sisters, Antoinette Cologne, Azelie Cortez, Helen St. Amant, Marie Frickey, Alice McAdams and Florence Drury; son, Vincent Peter Stein and grandson, James David Stein. She is a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church where she served as Extraordinary Minister of Communion, member of the Ladies Altar Society, and a faithful adorer of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. She is also a member of the Notre Dame de la Paix #2316 Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Her husband, children and their spouses as well as her granddaughter, Mary B. Stein were her dedicated caregivers. They would like to thank Thibodaux Regional Hospital, The Home Health Center of Thibodaux Regional-Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapist and St. Joseph Hospice for the loving care they gave to "Grandma". ======================
