Sylvester "Buster" A. Theriot, 59 , a native and resident of Houma, died 
Friday, Sept. 5, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. 

He is survived by his sister and brothers, Regina Lovell, Anita Cunningham and 
husband, Clay, Ingea Vannoy and husband Brad, of Houma, Eric Theriot and wife, 
Becky, of Bourg, and Edward Theriot and wife, Darlene, of Picayune, 
Mississippi; nephews and nieces, Jennifer LeBoeuf, Erin Bonnette, P.J. Theriot, 
Kristen Theriot, Brooke Theriot, Sean Authement, William "Billy" Theriot, and 
Dylan Authement; and great-nephew and great-niece, Elizabeth Bonnette and 
Kenneth "Kenny" P. Theriot. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul J. Theriot and Mary Margaret 
Theriot; aunt, Ann "Totsey" Leonard; grandparents, Sydney and Eunice Theriot, 
and Emile and Anita Leonard; and brother-in-law, Horace Lovell. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
