Nelton Allen, Jr., 42, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on 
Wednesday, October 15, 2014. 

Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 168 Brocato 
Lane in Raceland, until service time at 11 a.m. 

A burial will follow in Morning Star Cemetery. 

He is survived by his father, Nelton Allen (Cathy), Sr.; sisters, Carol Ann 
Thomas and Sharlette Brown, both of Raceland; longtime Companion, Deneva 
Jenkins, of Raceland; ll children, Desmond, of Raceland, Brittany, of Texas, 
Raven, of Atlanta, Reniya Alldridge, of Houma, Jaylesa, Jayla and Melton 
Richard, of Raceland, Nelton III, of Raceland, Asia and Jerrick, of Boutte, and 
Neltevia Jenkins, of Raceland; grandchild, Mariah Calloway, of Lockport; and a 
host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lola Mae Allen; grandparents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Clarence Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Allen. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
