Charles A. Bonvillain Sr., 71, passed away, October 9, 2014, a native and 
resident of Thibodaux. 

He was a lifelong educator and retired from Lafayette Parish School Board. 
Charles enjoyed cooking, volunteering at Laurel Valley Village, and watching 
Louisiana football. 
He was the happiest when he was spending time with family. 

Charles was an usher at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. 
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 8:30AM until funeral time at 
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2085 St. Mary St., Thibodaux, LA 
70301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM, at the church, 

with burial to follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery in 
Thibodaux.

He is survived by his children, Kellie Letsos and fiancé Gary Becker, Troy 
Bonvillain, Capt. Charles "Buddy" Bonvillain, Jr. and wife Colleen, Dr. Joseph 
Bonvillain and Jacob Bonvillain; brothers, Willis Bonvillain, Jr. and wife 
Bonnie, George and wife Donna and Freddie; grandchildren, Maximilian and Luke 
Bonvillain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Bonvillain, Sr. and Gertrude 
George Bonvillain; son, Beau Bonvillain.
