Louis R. "Poppa Lou" Boudreaux, 74, a native and resident of Houma, was called 
home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. 

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Calvary Christian 
Fellowship Church. 

He is survived by his children, Amanda Smith, Melissa Smith, David Smith, Penny 
Gurley and husband, Dave, Jenny Collins and husband, Jonathan, Jodi Robinson 
and husband, Gary, Paula Boudreaux and companion, John, and Denny Boudreaux and 
wife, Belinda; sisters, Agnes Chauvin and Barbara Boudreaux; brother, Kirby 
Boudreaux; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Kathleen Smith; parents, Marie 
and Hayes Boudreaux; and brother, Norman Boudreaux. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to Calvary 
Christian Fellowship Church, 2937 Highway 316, Gray, LA 70359.
