He passed away at his home, surrounded by family, after a long illness. A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the House of Prayer First United Pentecostal Church at 2229 Highway 3185 in Thibodaux, with the funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia "Pat" Harvey Boutwell; and children, Ricky Boutwell, Charles "Chuck" Boutwell, JoEl Guillot (wife of Clement Guillot III), Kellie Spivey (wife of Danny Spivey), and Terri Andrews (wife of Benjamin Andrews);19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the son of Harvey and Topsy Boutwell. Jay was a retired business man who was born in Utica, Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had been very active in church since he gave his life to God 29 years ago. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well as hunting, fishing and serving his Lord. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. U.S. Air Force ======================
