Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church in Gibson. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Beulah Baptist Church cemetery in Gibson. She is survived by her sons, Fillmore (Gwen) Cranshaw Jr. and Randy (Pam) Chapman; daughters, Cynthia (Sam) Chagois, Elaine Cranshaw, Marilyn (James) Williams, Sandra (Carl) Foulcard and Orelia Chapman; sisters, Vella Stewart, Lillie (Sidney) Williams and Rose (Calvin) Waters; brothers, Lee Andrew Short, Clarence Jr. (Lucille) Short, Bernard (Clara) Calloway, Rennorh Short, and Sterling (Joan) Short; 14 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Augusta Chapman Jr.; former husband, Philmore Cranshaw Sr.; son, Allen Keith Chapman; parents, Clarence Sr. and Leola Gray Short; sisters, Lucille Sneeze and Yvonne Boykins; and brothers, John Neal Short, Chester Short and Leroy Short. Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
