Inez Chauvin Cheramie, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, 
82, passed away on October 14, 2014. 

She was a member of the Luling Bible Center Church, where visitation will be 
held on Friday, October 17, 2014, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with services 
immediately following. 

There will be a private graveside service in Raceland.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Loyman Pierre Cheramie and 6 
children; Greta (Garland) Brignac, Rachel Cheramie Friloux, Dewayne (Cheri) 
Cheramie, Faye (Larry) Easley, Jan (Mike) Patterson and Dean Cheramie. She was 
lovingly known as "Granny" to 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She enjoyed the beauty of God's Creation, especially in her flowers and will 
always be remembered for the many family gatherings and the food she loved to 
prepare. 

The family would like to thank all of the health workers and care givers we 
have had during these many years suffering with Alzheimer's. 

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in 
me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever lives and believes in 
me shall never die." John 11:25-26
