Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1410.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Thelma LeBoeuf Dupre, 90, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenex and resident of Montegut, died at 8:18 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Montegut. She is survived by her daughters, Emily Dupre Neil and husband, Leland A. Neil, of Upper Little Caillou, Shirley Dupre Price, of Chauvin, Sharline Dupre Trosclair and husband, Michael P. Trosclair, of Houma, Sherry Dupre Theriot and husband, Michael J. Theriot, of Bourg, Jenny Dupre Bourg and husband, Terry P. Bourg, of Bourg, and Rhonda Dupre, of Bourg; daughter-in-law, Nancy Guzzo; grandchildren, Dr. Ketti Neil Scarborough and husband, William "Bill," of Swarthmore Pa., Ryan Neil, of Houma, Kristi Neil Hebert and husband, Terrel "Sluggo," of Bourg, Richard Price, Nancy Price Porche and husband, Randy, of Chauvin, Angela Theriot Cormier and companion, Jerry Bergeron II, of Bourg, Amy Theriot Blanchard and husband, Jeremy, of Bourg, Michelle Theriot Authement and husband, Brad, of Houma, John Michael Theriot and wife, Heidi, of Houma, Michael P. Trosclair Jr., of Houma, Kevin Trosclair and companion, Anne Plaisance, of Houma, Becky Dupre McCormick and husband, David McCormick II, of Bourg, Jody Dupre, of Kentwood, Toby Dupre, of Jackson, Joshua Dupre, of Houma, Chelsie Bourg, of Bourg, and Kaily Bourg, of Lafayette; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Edward "Nonc Yed" LeBoeuf; family friend, Sean Lapeyrouse; and Kree, the dog she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Paul Dupre; parents, Clarify LeBoeuf and Clothilde Naquin LeBoeuf; son, Karold John Dupre; son-in-law, Addis Price; grandson's wife, Tiffany Rhodes Neil; great-grandson, Kamryn Authement; brothers, Camille, Leon, Luby, Louches, Errol, and Calvin LeBoeuf; and sisters, Inez LeBoeuf Authement, Lena LeBoeuf Chauvin, and Ester LeBoeuf LeCompte. Thelma loved praying her Rosary, watching every New Orleans Saints game and keeping scores, reading the newspaper, sewing, making crafts, cooking her special Cajun meals, making desserts, line dancing, playing rummy, and Pedro, and playing Scrabble with her children and grandchildren. She was known as the Scrabble Queen among family members as she beat everyone knowing every word in the dictionary. She enjoyed the Neal Ransonet Senior Center. She was especially proud of the many achievements of her grandchildren and would tell everyone that they all took after her. She thoroughly enjoyed the moments she spent with all her family and friends. She was also a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Montegut. The family wishes to thank the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (Dr. William Ladd and Dr. Richard Abben) for the many years of care, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center (Dr. Robert Gamble), family Physician Dr. Russell Henry, and Hospice of South Louisiana for their care. Thank you also to the Rev. John S. Nambusseril for his visits and prayer services and special thanks to Orelle Nixon for her kindness and loving care.
