Irvin Gales Jr., 62, a native of New Orleans and resident of Raceland, died 
Saturday, Oct. 4,2014. 

Visitation will be from noon until funeral time Saturday at Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery in Raceland. 

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Harris; sisters, Evelyn Gales, Delores 
Robinson and Ramona Gales; brothers, James Johnson, Joseph Gales (Cynthia), 
Ernest and Jeffery Gales; and one grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Dorothy Gales, brother, David 
Gales; sisters, Emelda Fisher, Margarite Throne and Rose Mary Bellard; and 
grandparents, Frank and Harriete Gales and Cleveland and Flavia Hogan. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
