A gathering of family and friends will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, 721 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux, Louisiana. Mass service will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Burial will follow in St. Joseph church cemetery, Thibodaux. She is survived by, one daughter, Sybil Martinez Boudreaux and husband, Wayne of Mobile, Alabama; two sons, Alvin Martinez and wife Kathy Mire of Picayune, Mississippi: and Stewart Martinez and wife, Myra Boudreaux of Raceland; grandchildren, Julie Ogburn and husband, Patrick, Wayne Boudreaux Jr. and wife, Kathy, Christine Begg and husband, Robert, Ellen Lebouef and husband, John, Kara Bachman and husband, Tim, Merol Wells and husband, William, Andre Martinez and wife, Tanja, Jade Martinez and wife, Andrea, Andrea Landry and husband, Eric; and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert "A J" Martinez; parents, Alfred Ordogne and Nora Toups Ordogne; three brothers; Lester, Clarence, and Lawrence Ordogne; four sisters; Enola Malbrough, Viola Naquin, Lula Benoit, and Beulah Roger; and daughter-in-law, Madge Comeaux Martinez. Mabel was born in 1920, raised on a small farm just south of Thibodaux during the Great Depression. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother who always offered a friendly loving smile. She was a great cook, good friend, and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. ======================
