The sound of laughter could always be heard from Ann's direction. Her beautiful red hair advertised a joy for life that served anyone that was fortunate enough to cross her path. Ann's personality was perfect for caregiving. She was an ICU nurse at Terrebonne General Hospital for many years until becoming one of the first home health nurses in this area. Annie Mannie was always there to provide expertise and comfort for her patients, friends and family members throughout the years. Ann had a rich social life that always included her beloved friends from the class of '52 at Terrebonne High. She and Ed were members of the Mardi Gras crews, Hyacinthians and Terreanians. Annie Mannie may have been most at home in the stands, supporting her children from little league to dance recitals through high school football to professional baseball.
