Leila R. Naquin, 68, passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 9 a.m. until 
funeral time Wednesday at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero. A Mass of Christian 
burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling. 

She was the beloved mother of Donnie D. Durkes and wife, Dana, and Courtney 
Rodrigue; grandmother of Dakota and Dalton Durkes, and Madison and Reese 
Rodrigue; sister of Viney Larousse and husband, Norman, Eva Ann Faulk and 
husband, Robert, Marsha Naquin, Lampton and wife, JoAnn, Larry and wife, 
Shannon, Michael and Rodney Naquin, and the late John, Alvin and Allen Naquin; 
and daughter of the late Viola Authement Naquin and Anthony G. Naquin. She is 
also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. 

Leila attended Nicholls State University and graduated with her Bachelor's in 
Sociology. She worked for Entergy and later as a para-educator in the Special 
Education Department at Central Lafourche High School. 

She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. 

Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero is in charge of arrangements.
