Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux. Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery immediately following the service. Survived by Wife of 47 years, Marrial Morvant Pitre Sons- William Pitre, Craig Pitre and wife Vanessa, Michael Darden and wife Violeta Daughters- Stacey Pitre Leger and husband Patrick, Sonya Pitre Ohlmeyer and husband David Brother- Kermit Pitre Grandchildren- Jesse Pitre, Heather Pitre, Brennan Pitre, Ryan Pitre, Callie Trahan, Vivienne Darden, Camilla Darden, Derek Leger, Todd Leger, Travis Leger, Kade Barrett, Kamryn Barrett, Koryn Barrett, Owen Ohlmeyer, and Lillian Ohlmeyer Great Grandchildren- 12 Step-Great-Grandchildren- 5 Preceded in death by Parents- Wilfred John and Lillian Zeringue Pitre Brothers- Joseph, Russell, Milfred, Shelby "Nick", Waldon, and Royce Sister- Lou Bell Bourgeois Jesse was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather. He bravely fought a year long battle with cancer. He was someone who never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, family gatherings, geneology, and most of all dancing with his beautiful wife of 47 years. He was a member of the Walter Irving Lanier Lodge No. 307, the Terrebonne Geneological Society, and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church. The family would like to express special thanks to family and friends, Amedisys Home Health Service, Haydel Hospice, Dr. Walter Simoneaux of Thibodaux Urology, Dr. Chester Boudreaux of Regional Internal Medicine, Dr. Jonathan Silberstein of Tulane University, and Dr. Geraldo Arias of the Thibodaux Cancer Center. ======================
